Barry Schwartz is the new deal.

People love people who speak that common sense.  They love them more when this commonality hasn’t been articulated very clearly.  Enter Barry Schwartz and every wide eyed optimist’s favourite source of inspiration – TED!  Teddy!  Love ya bud.  Harmonyyyy!

In the past week I have been imbibed with good thoughts, c/o Schwartz’s.  If you have some time to feel warm and directed, it’s time well wasted.

The first one he talks about has to do with us quarter lifers and our self-indulgent (in)decisions.  This resonated with me after reading a nice little article in Eye Weekly about people like us and our paralysis and dissatisfaction with our 20something decisions:
