New one. Have to. Pogo’s new tribute to childhood favourite Hook.
It’s excellent as always, but isn’t it interesting that after only 4 exposures, the style is getting a bit something something ? I should be more excited about this after I listen to it, I almost feel guilty for not. But it’s still worth posting, because the idea is just as cool.
Mary Poppins was a major young Christie staple. I still have a soft spot for musicals, both good and awful. Thank the mums. Here’s Pogo with another addition to his moviemash canon with Mary Poppins and “Expialidocious” .
See Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, and Sword and the Stone. For me, Alice is still the crowning champ but this one is definitely second.
Teenage psychadelia enthusiast/editing perfectionist POGO just recently released two new tunes this weekend. All of his songs use chopped up sounds directly coming from said movies. Kudos to YouTube channel subscriptions. These videos still don’t quite measure up to the crowning “Alice“, but check out trip-hoppy versions of Sword and the Stone and Harry Potter anyway.
