Buzz kill.
Serena Williams yesterday at the US Open semi-final against Kim Clijsters (who just came back from a long hiatus). What an awful way to lose an important match. Foot fault then “I swear to God I’m [expletive] going to take this [expletive] ball and shove it down your [expletive] throat, you hear that? I swear to God”. That’s some big talk, unfortunately worthy of a point deduction, costing her the match.
For the men’s, I’m calling Del Potro will win against Nadal, and of course Federer over Djokovic. As a fellow lefty, I’ve been rooting for Rafa for longtime.

New childhood mashies.
Mary Poppins was a major young Christie staple. I still have a soft spot for musicals, both good and awful. Thank the mums. Here’s Pogo with another addition to his moviemash canon with Mary Poppins and “Expialidocious” .

As a TA, I found that word was the most overused word in university. Yes it has many letters, congratulations.
